Evolution Gaming Group AB brings its live dealer online casino games to Ontario

Renowned iGaming innovator Evolution Gaming Group AB has announced that online casino players in the eastern Canadian province of Ontario can now enjoy their choice of live dealer games through the OLG.com domain.

The Swedish company used an official press release issued Wednesday to announce that the launch, which includes live baccarat, blackjack and roulette games as well as a number of random number generator games, came about through a renewed alliance with Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) Corporation. The company explained that the premiere means its innovative online casinos with live dealers are now available in four Canadian provinces, following previous similar agreements with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Lotto Quebec and Alberta.

The developer said that all of the live games it provides to players in Canada are produced in a purpose-built studio in the western city of Vancouver. OLG.com has now added this entertainment to its existing range of lotteries, video slots and electronic scratch cards.

Jeff Millar is commercial director of Evolution Ganing Group AB in North America and said the agreement with OLG.com has "further strengthened" his company's position in Canada by allowing players from the country's most populous province "to interact directly with real casino dealers through an online video channel."

Financial Fortune:

In related news, Evolution Gaming Group AB used a follow-up press statement to note that its third-quarter net income rose more than 98% year over year to €157.4 million ($183.7 million). The Stockholm-listed company says this was due to a 97 percent increase in related operating income to €276 million ($322.2 million) and a 124 percent increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to €527.7 million ($616.5 million) with a corresponding margin that rose 7.2 percent to 68.7 percent.
